The Curriculum Vitae or CV is the primary employment history used in lew of the Resume across the planet and here are some resource links to help create one.   I think that they can be an important and helpful way for an individual to keep an history of there acheivements in there educational, employment, and volunterring.

Here is an article on What makes an effective CV written on a blog called CV4me with services and resources for creating a CV.  They are in England but the information should stil be valuable not only for finding employment in the US but Internationally as well.

The University of Exeter: which is in Southern England just south west of Bristol.  The website has some good Ideas for a properly created CV here.

Intapeople is an IT recrtuitment company in Cardif England and they have some good information on CV structure and Samples of such for ideas.
