Well tommorow is April fools day.  I can just imagine what fun it will be for those that like to fool me.  hmmm, Today I have a few interesting things.  One is im looking for a new dog, and I think i may have found a couple on Petfinder I have to send off an email later tonight or tommorow when I  get home from work.  It would be nice to share the house and have the life that a pet brings to a house back.  I do miss my girl she helped me through a lot, but the time has come where I should offer a home to another dog as there are many in need.

I have the new house bug so bad I can taste cement and saw dust.  Here are a couple of sites for wood heaters, they are nice solid rock masonry has some great designs and when im further into the planning stages Ill contact them for some insite and bid.  I found a class too that would give me some training in how to do the project myself, its at the North house Folk School they have many other courses but this one would be most applicable to what I want to do.  This is the article that I read many years ago in Mother Earth News  I should have built this house many years ago, but there were things that got in the way.  Now I am ready, and my son is at the age were he would really learn some great skills helping out.  In case you are interested this site offers many areas of education and information into Cord wood Masonry.  One of the other things I want to do is to make it ultra energy efficent, through the Midwest Renewable Energy Association. I hope to get all the information to design and construct the house so that I can reduce mo overall living expenses by 2/3.  The house I am in now is just way to much house for me.

Invaluable information:  I learned today that this is the last year that the Passport to World Band radio is to be published.  Ham radio is always something I have wanted to get a taste of, but as of yet no time.  I think that this is one thing I will plan for in the new house, then its there got it and can do it once its set up…  Also, I love information and chemistry has always interested in fact that is what a good part of my educational backround is in. Here is a book from the 1960s, it looks like alot of interesting things to bring out the sciences in a young person, maybe even interesting enough to break them free of the xbox.
